Day #318
I can't get this kid to wear a hat to save my life! He leaves them on for about five seconds before ripping it off. I don't know how I'm going to keep a hat on him this winter!
Day #317
A photo from this weekend that I just had to share. I love weekend mornings spent in our jammies hanging out. And, you can see Tyler's latest favorite...rides in the laundry basket.
Day #316
The next time I have a baby shower or bridal shower to attend, remind me to leave Tyler at home with Bryant! I love the kid to death, but he's just not the type to sit in the corner and play with small toys. No, he wants to run all over the place and inspect everything. The location of today's event actually had a small kids play room down the hall from the event room, but of course I needed to be in there with him. So, we spent the entire shower in that room by ourselves. Oh well, lesson learned!
Day #315
Another birthday party today! This time it was at a jumping gym with giant inflatable bouncy houses and slides. Tyler had a GREAT time!
Day #314
Kenneth's funeral was today. It was sad, as all funerals are, but we all know he's back with the love of his life, Paulita.
Day #313
Evil Kinevil has figured out how to climb up on mommy's Tupperware boxes. Definitely a reminder for me to put them away quicker!
Day #310
We didn't have daycare today, and I'm in the middle of some large projects at work, so Bryant stayed home with Tyler. Surprisingly, neither went crazy before I got home! Looks like Tyler was a good helper, helping daddy prepare dinner for mommy.
Day #309
We got to visit nana and pop pop today. Tyler suckered pop pop into letting him flip all of the light switches. Of course pop pop obliged...he an electrician!
Day #308
The bad news this week just keeps coming. Heaven got another angel yesterday. We love and will miss you Uncle Kenneth.
Day #307
We got some bad news yesterday. A good friend is battling an aggressive form of cancer. The prognosis is not good, and it's devastating to think about his family and children dealing with this terrible disease. It certainly puts things in perspective. I know I'll be hugging my son and family a bit closer tonight.
Day #306
I had some fun today and went to CVS to pick out cards. I'm getting a little bored with the card selection at Giant which is usually where I get my cards since I can tackle them while grocery shopping. It was nice to have such a selection. I can't wait to mail them!
Day #305
I think someone is cutting more teeth. That, or we're going through another phase, and this one is a doosy. In addition to wanting to be held all the time, Tyler now also will not go to sleep unless one of us is in the room. We've spent the last few nights sitting on the floor of his bedroom for an hour or so until he goes to sleep, but if he wakes up in the middle of the night he won't go back to sleep unless we are in there again. So, I've resorted to sleeping here...on his bedroom floor...

Day #304
Apparently Tyler thinks Rocko is a horsey. Thankfully Rocko is such a good boy and puts up with it. Love these guys!
Day #303
Super man! He was so cute in his costume. I think we might dress him in it this weekend just to play around the house. Everything he does is funny when he's in costume. Rather than trick-or-treating since he's so young, we lined the streets of Leesburg to watch the Halloween parade. I thought he might not like the sounds with all of the fire trucks and marching bands, but he did really well. Despite staring at a few scary masks that walked by, he did great and we all had a great time!
Day #302
Thankfully we had a birthday party to go to yesterday, so we had a good reason to get out of the house despite the weather. Tyler enjoyed himself once he got used to the crowd of people, the noise, and found the toddler section.
Day #301
Yes, that is snow, and yes, it is only October 29. I hope this isn't a sign of the winter to come. This wasn't fun snow either. It was mixed with rain, so it was very heavy and wet. Yuck.
Day #300
I gave the little one a tupperware with some Cheerios for the ride home today in homes of making it at least halfway home before the screaming started. About five minutes down the road I heard every one of those Cheerios hit the floor and turned around to see this! Guess I'll be vacuuming my car this weekend...
Day #299
The last time I was near these tools I was getting a sneak peak at the alien growing in my belly. Today, not so much. Today included the "C" word and the doctor literally saying "No offense, but you have a really ugly thyroid." Nothing urgent or really bad going on, just the usually yearly check and biopsy follow up to make sure everyone is playing nicely. I'm sure everything is fine.
