Day #298
Had an EARLY morning business meeting this morning. Yup...I was 45 miles from home BY 7:00 am. It was a long day, but a successful event.
Day #297
What can I say...I'm NOT winning the mother of the week award over here. Some nights you just need to make it work, even if that includes a less than nutritious dinner.
Day #296
He's so good to me. I love getting his little notes every once in a while. They totally make my day!
Day #295
I made these super cute jello ghost cups for the kids that came last night. I know they were for the kids, but I LOVE them!
Day #294
We had all of Bryant's cousins and kids over again tonight, which translates into my basement becoming a zoo with all of the kids. But, they have fun, and no one got hurt! It's great to get everyone together every once in a while.
Day #292
Look at the beautiful late bloomers I found in the garden. A happy little surprise before the frost comes in!
Day #291
I finally found a use for these iron urns I have. Other than holding the fake poinsettia plants at Christmas they usually go unused all year.
Day #288
There is no way my boy is going to sit down long enough to watch anything on TV, but we pretended for a few minutes today. He sat for maybe 2 minutes and ate his cheerios while we watched football.
Day #287
Another trip to the pumpkin patch today with some friends. We enjoyed a hayride around the patch this time since we were pushing nap and dinner time. But it was beautiful weather. Much nicer than the hot weather we had when we visited the last patch!
Day #285
I'm being crafty and made these centerpieces for our tables. Now if only I can keep Bryant from eating all of the candy out of them!
Day #284
We have a shortage of Halloween decorations around here so on my recent shopping spree I found these awesome bat decals at Target. I LOVE them.

Day #283
The last few weeks month at work have been nothing short of madness. I can't even remember the last time I went to the gym. I miss the treadmill so. So, I took yesterday and today off of work as "mental health" days. Boy did I need them! Tyler was home with me yesterday since technically it was a holiday, but today was all MINE. I zipped in and out of stores with reckless abandon. Sometimes going slowly up and down every aisle for absolutely no reason. Sometimes zig-zagging from one corner of the store to the other, and back again because I forgot something. All by myself.All.Day.Long. It was wonderful, and much needed.
Day #282
We had our first busted lip today after a slip on the hardwoods in socks. Nothing his first popsicle couldn't fix.
Day #281
We went to the pumpkin patch today with some friends. It was another long day for Tyler, but he had great fun until the very end. Again, it was very HOT...not at all how you would expect October to feel while enjoying the fall festivities! He had such great fun I have more than one photo for today...

Tyler playing in the "corn box." He had great fun filling up the trucks and dumping them over and over and over again.
My boy LOVES the slide. His facial expression just says it all. Love it!And then I captured it...my MOST FAVORITE picture of ALL TIME.
Day #280
We finally made it to the apple festival today. It was HOT and PACKED. This is us on our bus ride to the festival from the field parking. It took us about an hour to wait for the bus and get back to the field at the end of the day. Needless to say Tyler was DONE by the time we even thought about leaving. But, it was great fun although it didn't feel at all like fall!
Day #277
We have a ghost in our pantry. His name is Tyler and he loves to go in, shut the door behind him, and burst out with a big "AHHH!" So cute.
Day #275
We usually don't do anything during the week, but today we went to Aunt Stacey's beautiful new house to celebrate her birthday. Tyler was particularly interested in chasing around their cat "Peanut." He's a BIG cat, and probably weighs more than Tyler!
Day #273
Mother nature had different plans for us today. Despite my original plans to head up to the apple festival today we were forced to stay home since it was 50 degrees and raining ALL day. I was not happy about it, but what can you do?! Instead we headed over to Uncle Mikes for a get together. It was cold, but nice to see everyone for a little while. This is Tyler and his cousin (who is now a big sister) trying to get the cell phone from Bryant.
Day #272
We finally had our neighbors over for dinner tonight. It's been so long. It's amazing how time flies when we all get busy. Their little guy is crawling now so it was fun to see Tyler trying to play with him. We definitely need to make time in our crazy schedules to do this more often.
